Take a deep breath 🌬️
Last week, I entered my counseling session frazzled and stressed. So, my counselor suggested that we kick things off with a short breathing exercise. Four rounds of Box Breathing helped me feel more grounded in just four rounds. So, before diving into this week’s featured story, I decided to share it here with you:
Breathe in, two, three, four. Hold, two, three, four. Breathe out, two three four. Hold, two three, four. Repeat until you notice that you’re feeling more calm.
Our breath is very much connected with how we feel. How often do you check in with your breath?
Once upon a threshold 🌾
“Curious about what threshold you’re on,” a friend said to me. “Whether it wants to be named. Or not.”
The way I was had long since felt stifling, like a hand-me down sweater too small to still call my own. And I could sense that I was approaching a great divide.
